Good afternoon all,
Due to ongoing issues with collection vehicles, grey bin collections have been delayed in Empingham, Edith Weston, Whitwell and Manton, also communal bins in Oakham and Uppingham. These will be collected tomorrow so please advise residents to leave their bins out.

Unfortunately, due to covid related issues, Centrebus have advised that they will have to temporarily amend the service 12 (operating between Stamford and Uppingham via Tinwell, Ketton, Edith Weston, North Luffenham, South Luffenham, Barrowden, Morcott and Glaston) with effect from Thursday 14th January 2021. LEAP (Local Energy Advice Partnership) is a completely free service run in partnership with Rutland County Council and aims to tackle fuel poverty.
The new scheme will be run as free telephone advice calls which cover the same areas as the home visits used to. We will still be able to help residents in the same ways as before including:

Tommy's Close Playground Area
CLOSED Until March 2021
The Trustees of the playground met on the 23rd July and for the following reasons sadly decided the Playground could not be re-opened this year.
We could not meet the measures required to make the area Covid safe, based on latest issued guidelines

UPDATE - Works have now been extended to 21st February.
RCC wish to notify the parish that due to carriageway patching scheduled for Thursday 13th and Friday 14th February 2020 on Ketton Road in Tinwell, a traffic convoy system will be in operation with a speed restriction of 10 mph. This may cause delays to the Centrebus Service 12.
