Temporary Road Closure Rectory Lane 15th to 17th July 2020

The effect of the order will be that during the dates and times specified below all vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the length of road known as Rectory Lane
from Weston Road to King Edward's Way

The closure is to enable Severn Trent to undertake New Clean Water Connection works.

It is anticipated the works will take 3 days. The closure shall come into force when the appropriate signs and diversion route are erected on site.

The duration of the Closure shall be as follows: from 15th July 2020 to 17th July 2020

The closure is to enable Cadent Gas to undertake New gas connection works.

It is anticipated the works will take 5 days. The closure shall come into force when the appropriate signs and diversion route are erected on site.

The duration of the Closure shall be as follows: from 10th August 2020 to 14th August 2020

The duration of the Closure shall be for a maximum period of six months from 18th March 2020 or until the works are completed.

It is anticipated the works will take 6 days. The closure shall come into force when the appropriate signs and diversion route are erected on site.

The duration of the Closure shall be as follows: from 18th March 2020 to 23rd March 2020

The alternative route during the closure will be via the route shown on the attached plan (also available to view at the Council Office) and as shown on https://one.network

Possible delays on Centrebus service 12

RCC wish to notify the parish that due to carriageway patching scheduled for Thursday 13th and Friday 14th February 2020 on Ketton Road in Tinwell, a traffic convoy system will be in operation with a speed restriction of 10 mph. This may cause delays to the Centrebus Service 12.

Rutland County Council Budget Consultation

Rutland County Council is consulting on its latest draft budget, which sets out proposals for spending on local services and Council Tax for 2020/21.

They are inviting comments from anyone who would like to give their feedback on the budget proposals before 7th February 2020. This can be done online by visiting: www.rutland.gov.uk/budget, where you can also find further details about the budget.

Information and printed consultation questionnaires have also been made available in local libraries.
